Research Projects

Our team of researchers and post-doctoral students work on a variety of research projects related to deafness, including exploring the impact of language development on deaf children, studying the effectiveness of different educational approaches, and investigating the experiences of the Deaf community in Greece. Through our research, we aim to contribute to the advancement of knowledge in this field and improve the lives of individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Educational Programs

Our educational programs are designed to equip university students and professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively work with individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. We offer courses and workshops on topics such as Deaf culture and history, Greek Sign Language (ENG), Deaf education strategies, and sign language interpretation. Our programs provide valuable opportunities for individuals to deepen their understanding of Deaf Studies and enhance their abilities in supporting the Deaf community.

Collaborative Projects

We actively collaborate with schools for the deaf, audiology clinics, and various organizations dedicated to the support of the Deaf community in Greece and internationally. Our collaborative projects involve working together on research initiatives, organizing conferences and workshops, and sharing resources and expertise. Through these collaborations, we aim to foster a supportive and inclusive environment for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing, and to promote the inclusion and empowerment of the Deaf community in society.
